V: The New Series Gets A Return Date..

V: The New Series is indeed returning in March 2010.. ABC has just announced that it will be returning on Tuesday 30th March 2010, moving from 8pm slot to 10pm slot after LOST..

ABC has decided to hold off on both until then to ensure they can air straight new episodes till the end of the season.. It also gets them out of the way of the Winter Olympics, which will air on NBC February 12 – 28.. The no – repeats thing is a plus, and the move guarantees V a firm berth behind LOST, which is sure to draw viewers for its final run of episodes..

An ABC representative announced recently: ” We aired four episodes of V in November and ended with a cliffhanger, then return airing post Olympics.. We always intended to break the show up into ‘ pods ‘ to make it more of an event.. The order is 13 episodes.. Shooting will resume in January for airings beginning in March..”

The series aired four episodes in November, with the second and third losing viewers precipitously from the premiere and the fourth episode stabilizing.. The V Files recently spoke about the long hiatus, which allows the V cast and crew to actually write and produce subsequent episodes..
