Jane Badler isn’t the only former V cast member set to play a key role on this ABC reboot..

When V returns on January 4 and reaches the Season Finale, viewers will meet Lars Tremont, a character played by Marc Singer, who took on the role of freedom fighter Mike Donovan in the 1980s version of this series..

Even though ABC has fraked V and it’s fans over this Season, to the point fans shouldn’t expect a Season Three, it does still look like it’ll be a ” Gooder “ Season..

With Jane Badler already set to appear on V this season, yet another cast member from the original 80′s Mini – Series will also be coming to the ABC series..

TV Guide’s William Keck reports that Marc Singer ( Mike ” Gooder ” Donovan ), the star of the original V, will be appearing in Season Two.. Unlike Badler, who is playing an updated version of her classic Diana character, Singer’s character will be someone entirely new..

In the Original, Singer was Mike Donovan, who played a key role in the Resistance against the Visitors.. Singer will again be portraying someone working against the Vs here as well, as he plays Lars Tremont – described by Keck as ” is a member of a super top secret organization comprised of high – ranking military and government leaders from around the globe, who have long suspected that the Visitors – despite what they tell us – are very much not here in peace..”

Marc, 62, is also known to sci – fi fans for his role in the 1982 film The Beastmaster and the more recent Beastmaster spin – off series, while soap fans might remember him from Dallas or The Young & the Restless..

Jane Badler ( Diana ) will make her debut in the second season premiere ( Tuesday 4th January 2011 ), but Singer is not expected to appear until Episode 2.10.. The two won’t share any scenes in the episode … but maybe in Season Three the evil Diana can ” FINALLY get the Legendary Donovan in her grasp..”

Now who’s with me in hoping for Bobby Englund to show up as well? The V Files actually mentioned a rumor about Marc Singer wanting to be on the new series over a year ago, in a topic about Robert Englund showing interest too..

Just letting people know about Marc Singer’s, aka Mike Donovan’s, latest movie.. It’s called ‘ Dragonquest..’ Marc plays one of the main characters; ” Maxim..”
