Today the V Cast and Crew were out and about filming for different scenes filming at West Hastings Street and Thurlow Street, Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, where lots of eerie smoke was produced as people lay around passed out in the park.. Filming also took place on West Cordova Street, Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada..

They then filmed over at the Vancouver Art Gallery, located on Hornby Street, Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, which doubled as New York State University.. These images are from filming the scene in which Erica Evans ( Elizabeth Mitchell ) and Ryan Nichols ( Morris Chestnut ) head to NYU to pay a visit to Evolutionary Biologist, Dr. Ellis Watts, they believe can help their cause.. Instead they meet a future key member of the Resistance, Dr. Sidney ” Sid “ Miller..

We can also see a Visitor Tracker doing some Parkour style stunts to try and get away from Ryan, who chases him down..

The scene below is at the NYC Peace Ambassador Center, is just after the ” red rain “ begins, causing panic.. During the panic of rioters and demonstrators, Tyler Evans ( Logan Huffman ) is clipped in the head with a demonstrators protest sign.. Erica Evans ( Elizabeth Mitchell ) notices the lapel camera in Tylers PA jacket and realises that this is her opportunity to get aboard the Mothership..

Identifying herself to the Visitor Guard and explaining that they need the V‘s help,Erica uses an authoritative voice, as she insists that ” Anna will want to know..” Anna ( Morena Baccarin ) orders the Visitor Guard to bring them up to the Mothership, which is what you see going on in the scene below..

Pink is the New Blog has gotten their hands on the first images from V: The New Series Season Two Episode One ” Red Rain..” They report:

When the sci – fi drama V ended its first season last Spring, we the viewers were left with a lot of questions … particularly relating to the red clouds that unfolded above the Earth in the final scene.. The season ended without any explanation about those red clouds … leaving us to wonder what the hell could happen next.. Today we get to see a few photos from the Vancouver, British Columbia set of V that might give us a hint.. Here are photos of actors Elizabeth Mitchell ( Erica Evans ) and Logan Huffman ( Tyler Evans ) making their way out of the Visitors HQ in NYC … as what looks to be red rain falls down all over them:

Could a certain sexy Cylon be heading back to V when the ABC series returns?

Executive Producer Scott Rosenbaum says the show isn’t done with Michael Trucco’s story line yet.. ” John May may return,” he tells TVGuide.com..

When Trucco first appeared as the Fifth Column Resistance Leader in an April episode, it was discovered that Ryan ( Morris Chestnut ) had actually already killed May, as shown in a flashback..

But is John May actually alive? ” That’s what they hinted to me,” Trucco tells us.. ” I thought, ‘ OK, he’s dead, but he’s coming back?’ They’re like, ‘ Nope, he’s dead..’ I wrote that off as a one – off [ Appearance ], but they made some indication that maybe he’d come back..”

In the interim, Trucco has signed on to USA’s legal drama Facing Kate, but since both shows shoot in Vancouver, another V cameo seems feasible.. ” I would do it again,” the actor says.. ” I think it would be a great twist.. I would love to resolve that character and see a little bit more into what made him John May..”

Ilana Rapp: The fans are prepared that your ABC ” V ” character, Diana, may NOT be the 1980s Diana.. How are you going to play the new character differently from the original Diana?
Jane Badler: This Diana will, of course, be very different from the old Diana as it has been a long time.. I am no longer the young woman who first did V.. I am older and wiser and have had many life experiences.. Hopefully I will bring all that to the role.. Of course there will be a few surprises..

IR: As an actress, are you going to create a backstory in your head for Diana, or is a backstory provided by the ” V ” team to help create your character?
JB: Most of the back story has been supplied to me by the writers.. Thank goodness as it is a very different show..

IR: What the fans loved most about the 1980s Diana is her cunning, wit, sexuality and lack of human emotion.. Are you going to be able to use sexuality in this new role even if not required?  In other words, is everyone going to be your prey even if UNWRITTEN in the script?
JB: Hmmmm.. At this point I have only seen one script so I am afraid that is up to the writers.. I certainly hope so.. It would be a shame not to still have that part of my personality..

IR: What was your very first reaction when you received the inquiry to join ” V?”
JB: My first reaction was pure elation and excitement and then the reality set in … leaving home and my family which is always hard.. Also, the task ahead feels a bit daunting..

IR: Did you have an opportunity to meet any cast members before your first day of filming, which is 8/16/2010?  If so, who did you meet?  Reactions?
JB: Yes I have met most of the cast members.. They are all very friendly and down to earth..

IR: Unlike the 1980′s “ V,” the ABC ” V ” does not have any physical ” ships..” It’s all green screen. Do you find it easy or difficult to work with green screen..
JB: Today is my first day with green screen so I will have to let you know..

IR: Would you like to add anything else?
JB: I must finish up by thanking all of the many fans who have been absolutely integral in bringing me back to the small screen in America.. Your voice has been heard and I am deeply touched and grateful.. xx Jane
